New research giant named NORCE


The company’s formal registered company name will be Norwegian Research Centre AS.

In NORCE, the leading research companies in southern Norway merge into a research giant that will make this area of Norway a leader in research, innovation and value creation.

With its headquarters located in Bergen, NORCE will gather the forces of the Bergen-based Uni Research AS and Christian Michelsen Research AS, International Research Institute of Stavanger AS headquartered in Stavanger and Agderforskning AS and Teknova AS in southern Norway.

NORCE was established this autumn under the preliminary project name Forskningsselskapet SørVest AS, and has recently employed Elisabeth Maråk Støle as CEO. Now the brand name is also in place.

PETEC’s 15 Years Anniversary


In 2016 PETEC marked its 15-year anniversary. In the framework of this event on November 10-11 we held scientific-technical seminar “New technologies of extraction of hydrocarbons in a changing world”. At the seminar presentations on recent achievements and development in new research areas were made by our partners, IRIS, CMG, AGR. We thank all the speakers and guests of the workshop who took part in the anniversary, and express our openness to mutually beneficial cooperation!

PETEC and CMG celebrate another anniversary of cooperation


PETEC is an exclusive representative of Computer Modelling Group (CMG) for more than 10 years. On the anniversary of our cooperation, which coincided with holding of the next Technical Symposium, CMG in Calgary, CMG President Ken Dedeluk handed a memorial sign “For long-term cooperation” to General Director of PETEC and noted a significant contribution of our company to the promotion of CMG products and services in Russia and in the former Soviet Union.
